Dehumidifier Water Question

How many people re-use the dehumidifier water on the crops ?
I tested 5 litres last night and its E.C .26 and PH 6.1 now I use 100% rain water which comes at EC .4 and PH 6.8 ( which I lower to 5.8-6.3) , now I dont see an issue using the waste water as its pretty much RO water in my view, so interested in what others have to say regarding this, over a week thats 20 liters of water...

And on that note does anyone use PH water in there Humidifier ? or just tap water?

I don’t use my Dehu water personally but I don’t see why you couldn’t. I’m sure it would be much better than my 440ppm tap if I wasn’t using RO.

I mainly use RO in my humidifier and cloner but if I’m going to be out of town I’ll use tap because the chlorine helps keep it from going stagnant. I use an evaporative humidifier, if you use a mist style humidifier I wouldn’t use tap because the mineral deposits can get on every surface and make a mess.

Condensate can be used but remember the water may test 0 PPM it can still have bacterial growth in it and if the filters are dirty maybe some dust. I have used it in the past for growing and found that if I kept the dehumidifier relatively sterile it posed no problem and is basically like RO water.

Been growing with dehumidifier water as a main source for years. The collection sump can get kinda nasty so just clean/rinse it out with bleach, a drop of antibacterial dish soap, and hot water as needed. Have never PH adjusted because I grow in living soil. If you grow in something like coco it’s probably a requirement.
