do you have a preference on the type of humidifiers/ dehumidifiers?

Do you think a 70 pint 4000sq feet is overkill for a 10x10x6.5 foot space? (For dehumidifier)

Do you think this is overkill for humidifier for that space?

I am in a similar size room and my 70 Ideal Air dehu is just enough. I do have to run it on turbo, but not on turbo continuous. Bigger is better, otherwise it will have to run continuously.

I run a 70 pint in my room of the same size. I live in the Smokies and unless you connect it to a drain you will need to empty it daily. Mine usually pulls about 2-3 gals/day when it's really damp outside.

I think regardless of size you want one that can continuously drain. I have a 70pint in my 9x20x7 and it hangs. The problem with this question is different areas need different things. I live in a desert so the only humidity I combat is what I make myself. I used to live in a place that was 80%RH and I don't think my current setup would work there.
