That curling/deformity of the leaves that you are seeing is the beginning of a pest issue, if I were to take a guess. Bomb with Doom Doktor or some other pyrethium based fogger, then follow up by treating with neem oil. Use the neem oil while your roots are in their dry period, make sure to soak the top 2" of soil or so, this will kill the eggs, and repeat the treatment as necessary. I ran into this issue with my last grow.

The deformation of new growth is generally attributed to a lack of trace minerals, or micro-nutrients. These usually get locked out if the PH is off. If your water going in is 6.5 and comes out 7, that indicates the soil is probably close to neutral, so that shouldn't be the problem. Are you using RO or distilled water? If not, do you know the ppm of your tap water?

If your diagnoses were correct, the entire plant would be showing signs of some infestation. I'd do a little more digging and probing before suggesting someone bomb their grow room and neem their plants over a potential PH or nutrient issue. I'm not saying you are incorrect, however in most cases, new growth deformation is attributable to a whacked out PH level. Barring that, it is a lack of micro-nutrients, which is why the problem becomes evident in new growth first.

I do not disagree with you; however like I said this is exactly what it looked like for me. The pyrethium breaks down in less than three hours and the neem oil if applied during the dry period before watering should not harm the plants one bit.

thanks for reply guys, i did have a small infest, but cleared up with plant vitality and have not seen em since... but its only a few of the new leaves and rest of plant seems good..
i use tap water, sorry but dont know the ppm, how do i find out!
thanks for help guys, do you think i should give the plant a good flush!

Then would you agree that it would be prudent to inspect for signs of insects before spraying poisons? Again, your diagnoses may be spot on, but surely you don't suggest those measures before confirming it is indeed pests?

Do not flush the plant, it is possibly lacking nutrients and flushing only makes it worse. Do you have a water softener installed for your tap water?

(A PPM meter is needed to check ppm) Your tap water should have some minerals in it, which is why i asked for the ppm level. The macro nutrients are fine, or your problem would have started on the old growth first. That indicates the problem is with micro-nutrients.

Just found the possible solution after looking at your pics closer.... I think you are too light on the bio biz grow. 1ml/litre is too light... Check out this thread..

yes. :) it will... I'd go with 5.5 for now and when problem clears up, work back to 6.0 or 6.5 in my water.
