Deformed Leaves

Hi everyone...

Im new at this and its my first time to grow. Unfortunately i currently live in a country where i cannot access proper equipment and soil. its a cabinet grow.

The Problem:

3 plants with Deformed leaves and they are a bit yellow on the inside
one midget plant!!!
3 plants are ok but some are growing better than others

The Situation:

Temp: 21 - 26 C
humidity: 40 - 60 %
Lamp HPS 400 on a 18/6 cycle
Distance to canopy: 2 feet.
Continuous ventilation through 2 fans (in and out)
The Soil: was i mixture that i had to make from scratch which consists of 1/3 composite, 1/3 coco peat, 1/6 peat moss and 1/6 sand. the soil breathes well but i couldnt get my hands on any perlite to hold the moisture. i added some slow dissolving fertilizer and used lime to bring the ph to about 6.6 - 7.0
Water: water them every few days and i spray the top of the soil with water 2 times daily because it gets really dry pretty fast.
Have not added any fertilizer yet

The plants are about 3 weeks old

Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?

i attached some pictures (but they are not that great)

Bring the PH down to 6.2 & Back that light up a little higher. Mabe 2 1/2- 2 3/4 FT above canopy. future growth should be healthy. Seedlings dont like intense light. After 4 weeks of growth, there fully considered vegetative.

" i added some slow dissolving fertilizer and used lime" <<<<< Bad!

Trans plant now or start over, seedlings need nothing but water for like 2 weeks.

*edit you're also heat stressing them.

the slow dissolving fertilizer contains calcium sulfur and potassium only. i didnt know whether the soil combo i created had enough nuts for the plant... also everywhere it said to add hydrated lime to bring the ph up and the mix was at 5.5 when i started so i added lime to bring it up.

btw i use tap water at room temperature and its ph is about 7.2

i agree with the first 2. make the fix and relax, weed is easier to grow than u think. once u set the enviroment just wait for awhile. first time anxiety is a bitch hunh

Thanks notoriousone...i posted some new pics here...do u think they look normal for 3 weeks growthIMG00121-20110126-1802.jpgIMG00122-20110126-1804.jpgIMG00114-20110122-1927.jpg
Strands super lemon haze and afghan #1

Dont spray the under side of leaves. Unless you do it right you can just do bad. looks like you got them choking on something, even just water. prevents gas exchange and everything.

Even the best grower probably wont spray leaves with fertilizer or water. If you have a good root system the plant does not even want that in any doseage I think.

P.S. your plants are ugly. sorry.

so u still think they r ugly?
