Yep...looks like you got it. You might want to strongly consider removing them stems as well just in case it would decide to reveg itself thus creating that problem all over again ! :)

when you say remove the stems, do you mean all of them?

i can cut it at the soil line if you think it would help...?
 
I can still see some leaves, you might want to go ahead and yank those, But I don't know if your strain is right for this. It only works on certain peoples plants.

ok, well i'll do an experiment... I'll leave half the plant as is, and prune the other half. i'll put the light on the bare side to simulate the sun, and we'll see which side does better. I think the defoliated side will do better than the other defoliated side...
