Ladies and Gents!

Your thoughts or input won't be greatly appreciate it ...thanks

This is the beginning of week 3with 7 different strains in there and got a stretchy Sativa ( TGA Timewreck) in the back corner there under 630 LEC lights.

when they finish stretch then you lollipop. I would start now and remove all leaves that are not getting light already, allowing plant to focus on new growth. Also, if you remove the large top leaves your lower leaves can break thru and get bigger, as well.

Without a control the results are useless.
Your right...

But Let's see if it gives a good result with this Defoliation and see if it minimizes popcorn and larfy buds on the low end which is what I am used to getting.

Due to this fact I end up harvesting in phases (cutting tops off first and letting larfy buds mature and swell over a couple of extra weeks) due to this dilemma.

Looks good bro. These guys telling you not to trim them are growing some larfy ass airy mother fuckin sub par weed I guarantee it. Plants need to be trimmed and pruned up as they grow. They grow as much as they can and that doesnt mean they are growing in the right places. Iv tried not trimming much and it always affects my yield and quality directly. I trim in veg at least once to get all the spindly stuff off the main stem and all that kinda stuff. Normally my rule of thumb is I trim in flower at least twice. Normally once at the end of week 1 or mid week 2 depending on how clean they were headed in. Then I trim them in week 3-4 range. I was going to trim my plants for the second time in week 4 but I decided to hold off because I really got them good in week 2 and in veg. They were smaller this time around as I had to get rid of everything and recover from my first run in with spider mites 0..0

lol!! I feel you brother... Just don't want any popcorn this time around. :)
The buds at the bottom are smaller because of apical dominance not lack of light.

Cutting leaves off forces the plant to regrow them when they could be growing buds. Ever notice it has to be done multiple times? Photosynthesis takes place in leaves and makes the sugars to feed the plant. Gas exchange is done with the stomata on the underside of leaves, they take in c02 and release o2. Transpiration also needs the stomata on the leaves to cool the plant and release water vapor into the air allowing the roots to bring in more water and nutes. The leaves are the motor driving everything in your plant hacking them off isn't gonna increase yield. Try it for yourself by doing a side by side with clones and you probably won't do it again.
