I'm just trying to get a grip on deficiencies and could use some much appreciated input... Does anybody know if its a nitrogen deficiency or nute burn if the leaves start to turn yellow at the very point (end). It also seems to be just on the newer growth of a couple of my plants. the rest seem unaffected?

Nitrogen toxicity presents itself by: dark, dark green color of leaves and also the leaves look like a claw. If concerned; flush for one week Autos use a 1-5-1 npk. Could also be "nutrient splash", but yellowing tips indicate nutrient toxicity, Once you see the deficient you are all ready 2 weeks behind in fixiing:weed: the problem

Thanks Tek! I really love growing man. Science has always fascinated me and I love to learn. I read and heard how people said autos were really sensitive, but I had no idea man, LOL! It has taken me these last couple of grow attempts to really let that one sink in and simmer :joint:

hey guys, I'm having a hard time deciphering these diff plant deficiencies/ toxicities. Can anyone confirm what "rust-spots" might be determined as being?

Ahh mg, try adding about 1tbl (maybe a little less) of epsom salt per gallon next time you water/feed :).

Any chance for pics?

I'm hate to say that I'm going to go ahead and feed and water them tonight. They are drooping real good so they have me kind of nervous. I'm going to go ahead and water and feed with cal/mag and I hope the bloom nutes aren't a mistake with a NPK of 2-4-4. But I suspect from what appears to be dead tissue (unless I'm mistaken) that 1 or 2 of my girls have a phosphorus deficiency. I think these are the real first problems I've run in to besides nute burn. Any help is much appreciated!

its calmag
the thing with calmag is that its slow acting giving it more wont fix it it will actually make it worse by locking out other nutes
feed it and if it doesnt get worse then your fine for a while the leaves will never really heal they will just stop getting worse the spots that are there already will grow with the leaves they may get bigger but not spread to other parts

drooping is just being thirsty if youve fed them in the last week or so they should be fine if your PH is in the window

Ya, it's been a sec since I watered them, so I figured that, lol. Hope I can get a grip on these problems. Headed to the store later today to pick up some Epsom salt. I don't do anything special with the water really. Just Keep a little reservoir with an air stone on about 24 hrs before I water. I adjust the PH as needed before I water keeping it at around 6.8
