yea, im gonna have to cut my bacon intake down. i've ate a lot of bacon this past month. my 30th is comin up this year, and im sure that sandwich knocked some time off my ticker...

quick pic update... under the screen is a jungle, not sure im doing scrog anymore because im moving on to a perpetual system, though i may still scrog in one area or something... better pictures to come soon, still a little early to start proper photoshoots with killin the lights and whatnot. everything is going smooth, res change on the veg res in the closet today, watered everything thats in soil cept the mothers.

Will you do me a favor and put that 6way cord somewhere else other than under your res....my lowest cord or electrical device is about a foot off the floor...and I grow soil...just paranoid of water and electricity....not a good combo.....other than that...DAMN BRO!!!!!

man you always got the fly bitches in for your avatar, one of the reasons im happy you sub... the 6way used to be cable tied to the t5's power cable at about 2ft off the ground, but when i rearranged shit i never ended up elevating it again. you can rest assured it is no longer on the floor lol. lol and everything else, ballasts, battery backups for air pumps, etc have always been elevated XD

kk, so now a new plan is in the making, instead of adding a new tent and another light im going to be building a vertical grow out of my current setup that is going to look a lot like this:



well not exactly like it, im not going to use strut, im going to use plastic shelving i think because it will end up being a lot less expensive in the end. but it will allow me to plug and play my netpots and get this on a perpetual without any veg time, which is what i need. i will be harvesting one side every 2 weeks. right now im in the process of designing it, but building it should happen during my next cycle, with implementation of it on the following grow.

lately me and my friends have been constructing huge things to eat, but yea, we wont be able to do this too many more times, its just far too unhealthy. to answer your question, i did eat the whole thing, as for the first bite i pushed it down as much as i could to compress it, which made it short enough to kind of bite it. halfway through i started to feel light headed, i think it was cause my blood was thick as oil lol.

as for everything else, thanks for the comments from everyone, they are appreciated... kind of thinking again about the vert setup, it probably just would not be ideal right now for my situation, because i really need to utilize my smaller tent for a veg tent. the apartment is starting to reek of weed because of the vegging plants in my hallway closet... so i think im going back to the original plan of 4x8 tent, i just really need to have a light proof tent for flowering for the apartment... when i buy a house later this year i will be doing at least 1 vert setup like that, probably for a genetic proving ground for seeds im gonna bust... the plan for my larger grow is still to grow trees with vert lights...

quick update, had res change today,

gettin real close to the end, starting to lower my ec, probably should have had the ec slightly lower last week, maybe 1.4 or so, but the last few days i had cut it down significantly with tap. everything is looking and smelling amazing, kinda got the grapefruit scent as last time, but it will end up smelling like super glue after it dries... during the day when my ventilation is off it smells so strong in the room that it almost makes me nauseous lol. took some pics of the roots today when i was in the middle of flushing the res, dont worry about the brown lookin roots, thats from the additives. i had what appeared to be slight K def on the plants i transplanted into the hydro, however i think it was from the time when the roots werent touching the water and i was hand feeding em, i didnt really hand feed em much lol... new growth looks normal now... anyways, heres some pics for your viewing pleasure... ive got my ventilation and ambient temp so dialed in it doesnt even get above 75F in there with 2 600s in the same tent... the only thing i have to do is kick on my oven a couple times a day for 10 minutes if it feels a little chilly in here to prevent the baseboard heat from kicking on...

btw, i didnt really sort through these pics, just snapped a bunch off cause im gettin short on time... classes are back in swing and ive got a bunch of homework somehow the first week of this semester, dicks...

oh if you happen to notice what appears to be two buds sticking out of a couple shot glasses it is a jilly bean (what appears to be the candy store pheno) cutting that was deep into flower im trying to get reveg. also gonna see if i can get the actual chopped up plant itself if the clones dont root... dude didnt bother to take cuttings or anything, he was just busting a bunch of different beans... either way, i was moderately interested in growing it, so i had him give me a couple of the smaller nodes...

I'm testing a little 10 gal 9 site DWC setup. I'm way pleased with how easy DWC is.

Your grow is very impressive, I see an "Orsen" in your future.

found my replacement ph meter, its refillable and tells you when the meter isnt delivering results... it is by extech and is $120, it also can measure chlorine if you swap out the electrode for the chlorine one, which will be useful because im switching to using low ppm calcium hypochlorite for sterilizing my water...

added 6ml/g h2o2 35% to my flower soup to test it out for future use as i had a bad experience last time i used it... everything seems to be fine, and im curious as to what may have happened last time... everything else is going good, about to cull 4 clones that arent showing much vigor, but rooted well. ended up with 8 out of the 19 clones i took with very aggressive growth.

I think I asked you this on your last run but what is your reasoning for wanting to use H2O2?....I'll try to find an online Urban Garden article about how H2O2 is really the enemy to your plants. It really makes sense once you read the article..I know the second I finished reading it...I ran downstairs..grabbed my bottle of 35%...and dumped it down the toilet...I'll see if I can find it when I get back home...the wifey is starring at me with those "So...are we leaving like you said we were 30 minutes ago" eyes.LOL...Catch up to you soon.

yea im getting about the same, we are going to the detroit auto show... my wanting to use h2o2 was only for testing purposes right now, just in case i need it later down the road. water sanitation is something that needs to be addressed in hydroponics from time to time, and most commercial ops (lettuce, tomato, etc) use some variant of chlorine, chlorine dioxide, calcium hypochlorinate, or sodium hypochlorinate. i was just trying to figure out what i was gonna have on hand to kill shit in my water. also, i am not concerned about keeping microbes or anything alive in the water, as they are not needed in chem hydro as the nutrients are ready and available for the plants to pick and choose their need on demand...
