that should be fine unless you plan on growing some monsters, if you want to grow bigger plants then just get the single port area, there are also some made out of totes, they have 1 to 8 ports, and either dwc, top drip, or aeroponic. i got the top drip, but i only have enough space for that in my area and my space is kinda full, ive run it and put the first clones i ever took in it but they died, but they were the first clones! i have confidence it will work great.

making your own dwc is maybe the easiest thing you can build to get the best results from in so little time.

you just need a 3-5 gallon bucket with a lid like the one there. you have to make sure light cant get through and with the regular white plasic they are made of it will, you have to paint it black or tape it up with duct tape real good. you have to get some 2 inch net pots, and some type of medium, probably expanded clay, and something to start seeds or cuttings in, i recamend peat pellets.

my tote system came with everything, the pump, nets, clay, rockwool. i threw an air pump and an air stone in there to help airate the water a little more. but idk, it all depends on the availability of what you need. i could have got the buckets and tape or paint, not the clay, rockwool, or nets, let alone the water pump and drip tubing. so i would have had to order all that from online anyway, so i said fuck it. if you can make your own do it.

i wouldnt go more than 3 feet with those, and i would be bending them away from the middle so they spread out more. so maybe like 3.5 feet all together...
