Deep Funk Outdoors - 2011 Harvest: Round One

So anyways, after a friend of mine lost 25 big ones to cops/robbers I decided that it might be a decent idea to pull half my girls who were ready to roll. My Deep Funks seemed to be at least 3-4 weeks ahead of my sativa hybrids so I gave them a go and harvested quite load for 2 tall girls. I estimate that I'll end up with a couple z's which is all good in my book because this is my favorite strain EVER. I can't wait for another 3 or so weeks (so long as the cold weather stays at bay) so I can pull my other girls and end this stress of outdoor growing...

I can't for the life of me figure out why peole grow, if it's sooooo stressful for them. I have a friend that stresses out like crazy all season, every season over his plants. What are they gonna yield, are they gonna roy. do I have bugs, is it gonna rain, did I feed enough, did I feed too much, the guy just goes crazy all year. I've seen and heard many many people too, that are just totally stressed out the whole grow, and are GLAD when it's over.
If it did that to me, no way would I do it, as a matter of fact, that's one of the main reasons I do it, to relax!!

Dude.....theres good reason to worry. Some of us are guerilla growers and would rather have some weed we grew vs none.

Great point, wheezer. For me, it seems as soon as the buds start forming I start freaking out. I have good reason, though. Our land lies directly under the path of a weekly police helicopter patrol, and in NY they wait until you have buds to bust you so they can throw the book at you (more weight).

How about cops drive BY MY HOUSE EVERY DAY its normal for them to do this. HOWEVER My plants are visible from the road and I have 2 10 footers!!!!!! I'm going to chop them today. Leaving for 4/12 -5 foot NL

I'm mainly talking about people that are legal, and have no reason to be stressed, and they're stressing over how well the plants are doing, not getting busted. You guys doing illegal grows, I got mad respect for, and understand you being sketchy about that.... Not my point

I grow and I dont stress much. People get a little too caught up in the sciences of the plant, Ive seen pretty successful harvests grown with nothing but miracle grow nutrients and tap water. Some cheap bug spray, and thats about it. Unless this dude has like a HUGE garden, I could see that.
