Deep Cycle Battery Array

Hello,

I was thinking of (instead of going on-grid via the electric company) converting part of my garage to a battery array. I did some research in reference to Series (increase the voltage) and Parallel (increase amp hours) setups. I'm also going to conduct a DIY LED with COB Cree's. The LED panel will be roughly 1.5kw. I already know which deep cycle batteries I will use but wanted to know if any one here did this type of setup before?

Also, I going to get a Full Sine-wave inverter as well. Have anyone here conduct a similar setup like this. I need some expert advice.

Thank you for your time and have a great day.

it would be a massive pain to keep all your battery juicage in order. Is the idea behind this because you dont want your hydro to look suspicious or? If i think you might be overdoing it with that thats probably saying something

hmmm i was hoping there would be more input on this, as a friend of mine was asking the same thing, except just for the large amount of amps they can produce. im going to talk to him about it some more and get back to you hopefully in the next day or two if youre still interested in doing this

I'm really trying to go off grid to be honest.
you would probably get more input if you gave us some more info on exactly how much it is you're running/planning to run, and what youve done thus far to minimize kw/h use/maximize efficiency. This is especially true if you are going to run a really big setup. people will practically build it for you on here if youre doing something big and exciting :P
