Decepticons Mushroom Grow

Well this is my first time trying to grow shrooms, atm i am currently sterilizing 2 jars im only doing 2 so i can get my feet wet

im using the pf tek. i got B+ and golden teacher spores and im thinkin about going with the b+

i will get some pictures tomorrow or when they start to colonize if there isnt any contamination

Easy as pie.
GT's are a good starting strain.

Use half pint jars for faster colonization, and higher success rate your first round.

Maybe i'll go with golden teacher then lol and sadly i only have pint jars

Once you start a syringe, Your susposto use it all or toss it out chances of contamination would be high on a 1/2 used syringe

Most syringes will inuclate 5 - 10 jars with no problem

i inoculated the 2 jars they are now in a dark area so hopefully no contamination now i wait to see if so or not and also im thinkin about going out and buyin half pint jars tonight or tomorrow [h=2][/h]

i got half pint jars and im tempted to fill em while waiting for the 2 jars

Robert Mcpherson is laying proudly in his grave, having launched his ongoing virus called PF tek. The guy actually managed to convince people to this very day, years after his death that one syringe is only good for a few jars and that PF Tek is the easiest way to "test the waters", or to grow mushrooms at all.


Hats off to you Robert whereever you are, you were a marketing genious.

kinda like my atmosphere controller..great device,till you gotta buy 10 more addons to run a decent room..canndo,you should market your tech, the..hmmm..well call it the 'cigar tech'..lol

oh i am sure there is better teks, everyone was like this one is more noob friendly and plus i already had the brown rice and vermiculite and i think i got like only 14 or 15$ invested in it so why not

except, the originator of this tek netted this guy about 4bucks for every pint or half pint jar innoculated anywhere in the world, until he got a little too full of himself and included a print out of his proceedure with each syringe. He spent some time in jail for that before he died of hepititus.

i went ahead and did 12 half pint jars 4 or 5 days ago and 2 jars already have myc growth starting its about the size of a pea

and the 2 jars i did before nothing yet

so far i got 6 b+ jars with good growth and no signs of contam and one of the pint jars with the golden teacher has just now started showing signs of myc growth

This jar seems to be a head of the rest by a little bit

Yeah, pint jars with the brf and verm take a while to fully colonize

yeah ive noticed how slow they are compared to the half pints

well all the jars but 2 has myc growing some more than others one or 2 way ahead of the rest with almost the whole jar covered still no signs of any contams so not bad on that part on my first time i will post pics of all the jars tomorrow or the next day
