Decarbing hash in Glycirine Question

So Ive put about 14g of hash into 7 oz of glycirine at let it sit for a week. I'm attempting to do the 60 day method but i realized i forgot to decarb the hash before i put it in the bottle. If i heat it up at 170-200 F for 45 minutes will it do the same thing? Also as a side note when i put the hash in there it was sticky so i rolled it up into little balls before i put it into the bottle. Ive been heating it for 20 minutes at 170F the hash has turned into a powder. Does that mean its done and i can just let it sit? or do i have to give it a hot water bath every couple of days to achieve the same decarbinization as 300F in a oven for 20 minutes? Thanks

Edit:Also If i heat a tightly closed jar with weed (no glycirine) on a skillet at 300 for 20 minutes will it decarb? I want to add more weed to the mixture but all i have is a skillet no oven.

The only reason you are currently waiting 60 days for this tincture to be ready is because there are only 2 ways to get the thc to bond to the other agents are heat or time. Heat will allow you to not have to wait the 60 days it speeds up the chemicals to bond to each other.

Decarbing is a per user thing (meaning each user will tell you what works for them may not work for you) so.. that said..
I dont decarb when I make oils or tinctures because the duration of heat will basically decarb the green during the process but I will decarb when I make firecrackers or other items not oil related since the time they need to decarb correcty is short when I cook using only green

personally why wait the 60 days... have yet had a "60 day recipe vs 4 hours" work better either way.

been awhile since I used glycerine but why not just add a table spoon or so on a oven safe dish heat to about 250 or lower and heat up the hash in the small ammount of mix and then add to the other portion of mix once it has been heated for 60mins or so.. then wait your 60 days if you like.. or enjoy it after cooking it for about 3 hours at a low temp
