i am just trimming the last little pile of buds. I have about twenty pounds of buds. But since I was on an extended trip, a male germinated my crop.

So I have seedy weed. It's fine, it was a grow for my personal use.

Is there a method for separating weed from seed?
Seedy weed makes joint rolling a pain, but I'm a pipe smoker. I just wondered how y'all do it, iffin you got seeds.

dont grind, make sure the bud is nice and dry and rub gently between the palms of your hands. put a collection plate under your hands to collect falling seeds. keep seeds in fridge and enjoy.

I Googled it, and most people just rake it "uphill" with a credit card, and let the seeds roll.

Yes, that's exactly how it's done. Back in the day, almost all weed had seeds in it, we always rolled the weed/seed uphill. This only gets the roundish seeds, though. You'll have to keep an eye out for any that don't roll out. They're easy to deal with once the majority of seeds have been removed. You'll get good at it w/ a little practice.

If you let it sit out and get a little crispy, it's easier than trying to de-seed a real sticky nug

If the buds are dry enough, you should be able to cut up a bud with scissors and let the cut material drop a few inches onto an inclined surface like a pie tin or a plate. When the cut bud material falls onto the inclined plate, the seeds should bounce and roll out of the way.
