Dead leaves on bottom of plant? Male or female?

edit: any comments on how healthy they look. What about the dead leaves on bottom of the plant???


Any way, this is my first real attempt at growing. I know that the 2 on the right are small and weak (because of over watering), but im flowering them anyways with the other two larger ones because I don't feel like setting up a separate grow room. My question (and close up shots) are about the other two larger ones on the left, do they look healthy? I noticed that the leaves on the bottom die and grow back they been doing this for about 4 weeks now. I wondering if it is a big issues or not. none of the leaves above that never died or even turned brown yet. Also do they look like they are males, I cant tell. But i'm thinking they are. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

no its not yard dirt, its my own mix, top soil, peat moss, manure, and sand. I over watered the hell out of these poor things, was going to trash them because they were about 5 weeks old and small a shit but somehow they lived and shot up from about 3-5 inches to this in about 2 weeks. So I said fuck it switched the lights over to 12/12 just to see what would happen, This is more of an experiment grow now don't really expect too much from them. seeds come from my uncle, all he smokes is shit like sour lemon diesel and headband. I still cant believe he pays 400 an ounce for weed. I think he crazy, so i told him give me some seed and if i can grow you same shit, ill cut the price in half. too bad this batch backfired on me. Wish I had money for better lights. because i know they need more that what i have right now.

oh yeah the 2 larger ones started to flower when they were in veg. one of the reasons i switch over to 12/12 even tho they are still pretty small.

if you can see a little tiny stem under that growth, as opposed to it being kind of recessed into the branch.... NOT a good sign

well... in the original second pic.... def looked like balls... but the rest look ok.... only way to really answer your question is a closeup of that pic in question...

sadly you're the only one that can see things in 3-D.... so without the right camera angle, at this point, it's hard to tell... HOWEVER, there are people on here that will have far more experience than I do... and probably see something I dont... best of luck
