dead bug in my bud!

so i have not harvested yet, im about a week away
and i found a dead bug kind of in my top main cola. it was not really INSIDE my bud just almost.. is it probable that it laid eggs in there and i am gonna have a ruined harvest? please say NOOOOO

Snap, crackle and pop! It is possible that it laid eggs, so you might want to look through it. I would not worry too much over it personally. If there is just one bug, then how much "damage" can it have done?

theres very rarely just one bug.

yeahi have actually noticed some other small bugs living in my soil... they do not appear to be hurting the plant... they just run around on the surface of the soil when i water. should i worry about it or just wait the last week till harvest.... i dont thin there are any pesticides that i can use this close to harvest.

if they fly could be fungus gnats and then they will become a problem. Fungus gnats lay egg which inturn become larva which feed on your delicate roots and can kill young plants.

(Bacillus thuringiensis) mosquito dunks.

if you have bugs running around your soil the most likley cuprit is fungus gnats they are pretty much harmless unless you let them get out of hand. i encountered this problem not to long ago and the best thing to do is to just go to home depot and buy some play sand but it needs to be sand for san boxes or else it may contain all sorts of bad stuff. lay about an inch of san on top of your soil and presto in a couple of days no more gnats. if you want to be cruel about it got to a pool supply store and purchase some diatomatious earth(i cant spell). when the gnats try to crawl through the stuff it acts like razor blades and cuts them apart. hope this helps

OK, so i only have one plant, and it is only 1-2 weeks from harvest...so im not too worried about the roots being eaten. the bugs have been there for a while. but i have not seen an increase in numbers, actually i see a lot less of them than there used to be. should i just let them be until harvest? it has been ok so far. when it is done ill just make sure to dump the soil far away from my new soil...
