1000 watts is way too much for a 3 x 5 im0....that is classic light bleaching.....i had this happen in a 5 x 5!
Yes. And its a de in a 3x5 closet at that. Iam sticking to what I said earlier. A 1000 watt de in your 3x5 closet (even turned down) is just too much bro. Although some can get away with it...with the strains they run...with yours in that dry (because of that lamp) your just blasting them. And yes your rh is not dialed and thats part of it but take my advice and throw a single ended hps in there (i know it sucks - you got a de thinking it was "the best" - i see it all the time). Or throw them under some blue light if they are still vegging. Like a t5..halide..or cmh. Get em nice and strong and healthy. Perfect looking leaves. Then when the gals are perfect. Drinking and eating and growing really nice. Put em back in there and see (but I still say its too much). Raise the lamp the highest it can go and crank the wattage as lowest as you can get. Keep your rh in the 60 - 65 % light on (tough with your closet and a de - might need a humidifier). And temps at canopy about 77 to 82 degrees. Crank that co2 up a tad. And roll from there. Again...your rh is out of whack but iam almost sure your 1000 watt de in that closet is just too much right now. Post yer results broseph cuz you got me wondering as well. We are here to help.

I hear about it all the time. And I just dont know how these smaller tent amd closet growers are able to put a 1000 watt double ended hps is such a small area. Its like trying to drive a bulldozer through the eye of a needle. I got grower buddys that wanted "the best" lamp and tried to put them in a small tent or closet and no way did it work. These lamps are meant for BIG spots. Really high bay warehouses and big greenhouses. Super tall ceilings and with row upon row of de fixtures. Hobby lamps these are not.

I no way would I call 50-55% RH "out of whack" The plants have made a full recovery and I put one back under the DE at the lowest setting (600) we'll see what happens. If it is still too much light I'll throw this 1000W SE back in

So a little update. I stepped up my feeding to 2X a day and I lowered the temps in the room to 73-77* with a majority of the time them being around 73* I put them under the 600-660-750 setting and after 12hrs or so under the 750 I started to see some very very slight curling so I backed it off to 660. They have been under the 660 setting for about 12hrs and for now that seems to be the sweet spot. With that said the plants have reached the trellis and all are about 14-16" in height and 14-16" in width. With the sensitivity to the light as is I will flip them tomorrow morning and try to manage the canaopy under the net. Wish me luck!
