DE HPS Spectrum Shootout 2100k vs 4000k vs 6000k vs 10,000k Commercial

Greetings everyone.
If you have read my thread from a few years ago regarding spectrum in different stages you will know it never got answered with solid evidence. So its time I run a commercial side by side to give some final numbers, data and lab results to put this to rest. I hope one day this will become a sticky here for future growers, as well as I hope we can translate this to LED at some point to run the same test to see how it compares with the different technology of light.
Okay, so here is the criteria I will be working with.

Space
2 x 20x20 Grow Space's
Room 1: 3 Gallon Air Pots Coir
Room 2: Aeroponics
12 1,000w DE Nanolux Fixtures per room
9 Plants Per Light
4 Week Veg from Clone of Proven Genetics
Lights 4' above plants
CO2 and AC and Dehue will be in effect. They are closed rooms.

Bulbs:
2100k
4000k
6000k
10,000k

Genetics:
Chocolate Covered Creamiscle Dough ( My Own Strain)
Averages about 7 oz with a 4 week Veg.

Conditions and Setup:
Each room will have 1 bulb in each corner of one of the above Kelvin, so we mitigate any spectra getting into the control corners.
I will run these bulbs from Veg To Harvest Documenting Start and End of Each Week on the progress with each bulb and the things I observe.
At the end of harvest after proper dry and cure I will send a few samples of each to the Lab for anlasis. After I get the results back i will update the growth, node spacing, heights and width of plants in veg and flower, flower sizes, Cannabinoid content, yield for each bulb. I will then give my conclusion after all of the data has been collected.

Hypothesis:
I believe the 6000k will veg better than all of the other Kelvin bulbs.
2100k will give us the best yield.
10,000k will give us the highest potency.
4000k will give a lower yield than 2100k but not significantly, but grow better vegetative, denser and more resinous flowers for a good all around bulb

The Point:
I want to once and for all put this to rest. No more speculation or going by some old grow book, but to see real tested results in two different growing mediums.
In the end I will know which K temp DE Bulbs work best in what stages based on absolute fact. This will then be translated into the entire grow room being overhauled with those bulbs and running a final test with the new bulb Kelvin system, to then get the final results with the new system to get maximum yield vegetative growth, potency and density.

I will update end of the week once I get the clones in there. They are currently in the aerocloner at the moment.
I hope this helps people in the future

Here is the strain we are working with;

Regards, Trippy

Thanks trippy for taking the time to do this. I am along for the ride of that's ok . So 4' away from the canopy with The lights? And just for clarification you said you will be running nanokux fixtures, but which brand of bulbs?

Thanks again

4' Gives me around 1,000 PPFD with 12 fixtures
Solis Tek Bulbs for all tests, 2100k, 4000k,6000k and 10,000k
Nanolux DE Fixtures
We need to know the answer once and for all and stop pretending all the old grow books were correct without much basis.
Its time to find out what spectrum gives us optimal Growth, Yield and potency at each stage.
Thanks for dropping by. Will be active here pretty regularly again.

I'm dying to run a DE as I only have experience with the SE bulbs but I just won't have the height inside my tents ............

Looking forward to your testing.

I run 1 DE in a 5 x 5 tent for my personal grow.
I use 1 Fan mounted to one of the poles
a 400CFM outake and intake.
Temps 22-25. I can get the plants 20" without bleaching.
Phillips GreenPower 1k Bulb in a Nanolux Fixture.
PM me if you need some help.
I love DE HPS. Its night and day difference. penetration is nuts.
I run a scrog about 3.5' off the ground to manage height. Never had issues.
Last run was 6.8oz/plant 9 plants in 3 Gal Coco Coir with the same strain above.
You can get killer yields with DE and a good yielding strain.

I think I might just pm you if that's ok. My bigger space is a 4x8 and I love hid but have yet had a chance to run a DE in any of my spots . I was running hortilux blue MH for veg and super hps for flower .I'm keeping an eye out to see if they release the new ceramic hps bulb as a stand alone item as I already have the 600 watt ballasts and raptor hoods .

Shoot me a PM, we can have a talk. I would run a DE in there on a light rail if I was you, but I would run a DE anywhere even if I had to dim it. CMH grow some sexy fllowers. Will have to look into those a bit more after this run.

Subbed. Looking forward to the journey. That's some pretty flower btw!
Thanks. Hope I can give some legit data on why we use certain spectra and how it affects growth in each stage. Sick of hearing the same repeated garbage that hasn't had much real evidence at all.
Im very curious how the 10k Vegges.
She is my personal Strain. Smells like Tangerine Mint Cholcolate with a Vanilla Bean Icream Cookie Dough. Its something mezmorizing. She smokes amazing in a vape.

UPDATE: Solis Tek have graciously provided the bulbs for this experiment.
They have provided me with the following:
2k 1,000W DE HPS
4k 1,000W DE Daylight
6k 1,000W MH
10k 1,000W Finisher

Will have photos up on Monday when the bulbs arrive.
Stay tuned for a serious experiment that may change the outlook on how we grow forever.

Stay tuned. Will update on Monday with some photos of the warehouse and the placement of the bulbs in each corner far away from each other not to sque the experiment.
I am just very interested to know what each K temp brings to the table, not just educated guesses. Real world results. I hope to provide this to the community.

I'm along for the ride, thanks for taking the time to do this, and awesome of Solistek to provide the bulbs for the testing.

I agree, they were very welcoming in that regard. I appreciate that they sent them out so quickly as well.
I just want to settle the Spectrum debate on regards to Kevin bulbs in DE HPS technology and eventually translate this to a COB test and see how that differs in any way.
I will be taking precise PAR measurements and documenting very heavily, such as node spacing , length, width of plants, height, if nutrient requirements go up or down at all, leaf size, color.
Will be very interesting. Grab some popcorn as it going to be a long ride.
