Day 53 Flowering L.A. Confidential, first timer how long do I have left?

Dont know if these shots are good enough to gauge how long is left what do you guys think? Grown in DWC 3 gallon pots Floranova nutes and 2 600w HPS.

My research shows this strain to be a 45-54 day finisher but since this is my first attempt at MMJ I would definitely like to hear what other experienced people have to say. Thanks in advance for any help and check out my grow journal if you get a chance let me know what you think.

Forgot to mention that under a microscope the trichs are close to 3/4 milky 1/4 clear.

Good grow so far but everything still looks pretty green. I am no expert but I would say another couple of weeks and wait for those buds to fatten up. Good luck.

I agree with Benelli, I would start flushing them real good. Hard to say from pics but the buds look pretty close to me but those super green leaves are telling me there are still lots of nutes in there.

I wouldn't flush yet. Those look to have at least 2-3 weeks left to ripen, and for the calyxes to swell. Look for the start of amber triches as well. But in my opinion, these ladies have a bit more maturing to do before harvest, to really bring out the flavor and potency...

Never hurts to have a good flush, plus at 53 days for a 54 day strain, you should be pretty close. I don't recall the L.A confidential as being real heavy on the yield side so they may not swell a whole lot more, still looks pretty awesome for afirst grow dude, great job!

It looks as if the hairs are starting to turn redish so you are getting closer, and would begin the flushing and you could posibly add CO2 to give them a little push, but from the pic's you have done a good job for a first timer and would expect another two weeks for finish which will allow for a little more fill-in and weight.

Today was the 7th day of flushing with 5.8 water the last 4 days and a sledgehammer solution for 3 days prior to that. I wish I had a better camera because to me the buds do look close with nearly all red receding hairs on the tops and around 80% milky 20% clear under the scope. From a search I did on this forum about LA Confidential I read someone saying that it is not uncommon to have green leaves at harvest time with this strain and with good harvesting and curing methods it would not effect the taste and smell of the dried product. From the comments it looks like the consensus is it needs a couple more weeks, I was thinking it needed another week when I originally asked the question so I wasnt too far off but I am glad to be getting some responses.

I had a small branch that folded to the side and bent over so I chopped and trimmed it tonight. I will take a pic in a second and post it here.

Nice, that will tell you everything you need to know when you smoke it. If its harsh flush some more, if the high is to heady/spacey waiting will give you more of a couchlock effect.

Thanks for the kind words. I smoked that sample branch in my bowl today and was pleasantly suprised that it wasnt harsh at all, no crackling or sparking so must be pretty flushed out. It also had a real headrush high lol, not really used to that but I could feel it really intensely in my head dont know how else to explain it but it wasn't much of a body effect. I may even clip another branch, must admit that I did enjoy this type of high at work today way more than the stoney feeling i am used to. Hell, if I was assured that I wouldnt lose too much yeild I would take more than that it would be nice to have a zip of some non stoney weed for during the day when I am working.

I'm anxious for a smoke report thinking about adding a mom to my collection I'd say 2 more weeks

I grew out some LA con earlier last year, the ones you have there should go another 2 weeks. You'll thank me later.
