Day 5 Flower. EC rising, pH falling....?

Hello
I have 9 plants that were vegging for 48 days, now they're on their 5th day of 12/12 Flower.
I use a WILMA hydro system and check the res EC/pH every day.

01 Jan EC 1.3, ph 5.7
02 Jan EC 1.3, pH 5.6
03 Jan EC 1.4, pH 5.5
04 Jan EC 1.4, pH 5.5
05 Jan EC 1.5, pH 5.4

I monitor EC every day and I hoped to raise the EC of their feed (more nutes) when the res EC drops.
But it has only dropped once! And quickly returned to higher the next day.
25 Dec EC 1.3
26 Dec EC 1.3
27 Dec EC 1.3
28 Dec EC 1.2
29 Dec EC 1.3

It's my first grow.
First week I over fed and caused nute burn
then they grew painfully slowly for the next few weeks.

I don't want to over feed again but I am surprised that they are not leaching more nutrients out of the res at this stage of their growth.

I use
CANNA AQUA VEGA A & B
(I will not change to FLORES due to strange NPK ratio)
CANNAZYM
CANNA RHIZOTONIC
and, occasionally
ESSENTIALS pH DOWN
and, very occasionally
ESSENTIAL pH UP.

They look healthy and are starting to give off serious stink
8 of them are 22" to 24" high with reasonable bushiness/side branches
1 (that was nute burnt the worst - she was the smallest cutting) is 19" high and less dense.

CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN WHY THE EC KEEPS RISING ?
when I expected it to fall as the plants ingested more of the nutrients...
And , also, why the pH has, for the last 10 days, consistently fallen at a steady rate ?

Thanks in advance for any illumination and/or advise.

Your EC is rising because your plants aren't using all the nutrients in the water, your pH is falling due to the increasing EC. Heavier salt Content in your mix shown by the higher EC means your pH will be lower. PH naturally drifts down during flowering though too.

When did you do your last dump and refill of your reservoir?
I recommend a full purge at least once every 2 weeks.

My advice is reduce res EC to 1.1 increase pH to 6.0-6.2 and monitor what's happening for 48 hours and adjust if needed.

No thank you for posting details of how wilma systems are run an how the difference in mesuring stuff looks from a hydro perspective from a cfls point of view. due to limited time online at the moment this has given me a good rough idea of the sort of mesurments il be looking at using if i ever get all my hydro kit delievered from annoying A to B in my hands.

Keep us posted on your results!
