This is my first solo grow, I always had a trusted second opinion on when to chop. I always second guess myself when it comes to this :wall: ... opinions would be helpful and appreciated big time!

Overall the grow has gone rather well and want to keep it that way. I've chopped early and way late before so I don't want to repeat it.

I am running 4 different strains (only doing this to find a suitable one for my needs), right now I have gummy bear, blueberry headband, amherst sour d and golden lemons. The gummy is is the closest to ready In my eyes. So I wanted to get some ideas on its readiness which will help me be able to gauge the rest.

If you want any more info or pictures, Ill post right away. As I was basically wondering on its ripeness, I didn't want to dilute the post with other information but if would be any help or anyone's interested Ill post asap.

thanks

Very Pretty, I would wait a min longer, get them Candy coated :~}
Try a small popcorn bud slow dry in oven barely warm. See if its what your looking for, the high changes with time

of course, The gummy bear ended up not producing a very heavy yield, at least in my room but I contribute that to being overwhelmed by some amherst sour diesel and golden lemons that just hogged the light. The smell, is a very piney smell, very strong but not fruity. While the taste seemed to have a hint of lemony pine. My buddy did the same strain off the same mother and had a slightly larger yield. I am definitely going to try it again after this cycle because the people who smoked it loved it. Just didn't get that yield I was looking for but I contribute that to the factors mentioned above and also I was hoping for a more fruity taster. The high was good, felt alert but relaxed. I would like to try gummy bear OG instead of the gummy bear in a upcoming cycle. Any other information you want let me know. (It was out within a hour and he only came back wanting more)

I haven't found any reliable source to get a cut or bean and am beginning to think the strain may just be a whisper in the wind, so to speak. I mentioned it because after reading the description of the flavor and smell, it seemed to be more of what I was looking for when I did the elemental's gummy bear. Instead of the gummy og, i'm going to try and get my hands on some bubbleberry or another bubblegum cross. (An old favorite of mine)
