what are the trichomes telling you?
looking at the pics i'd say between 4-6 weeks, the plant sucks energy from all the fan leaves towards the end of flowering and puts it into budding, making them swell up a ton, yours all look healthy. The last 2 weeks is when you gain most of your weight.

Hmmmm, I don't have a microscope on hand...a good amount of the trichs on the tops are turning more amber colored. I am just going to practice my patience skills, because I am mostly concentrated on weight for this grow lol. Is the only way for me to know for sure the microscope thing?

you can use a magnifying glass. I would recommend a small led light and checking during the dark cycle with a magnifying glass. Opaque/milky white is the way to go, IMHO

Day 39 and they're like that? Schweet!! Go with the standard advice, check your trics. For the weight, I understand that you wait till the 'end of the window' when your buds ripen.

For $5? Ridiculous, my ass. That's badass. Oh, and I did a bit of reading in my grow bible on this subject. It is advised, according to Jorge Cervantes, to take your plants when the trichomes start showing milky/white. However, a friend of mine who grows the dankiest gawdamn 
I ever smoked says that to get a super stoney, ultra heady high, with added weight, wait till your trichs turn more amber. They also told me that when you think it's time to pull, wait a week. 
Personally, I pull when half the hairs on the plant are red/orange. But then again, I still buy the uber dank from my boy for special occasions.

i am wondering if there are any reason that the white hairs would turn amber besides that the buds are done
?
i noticed that a lot of the hairs on my lady are turing am amber color, but i can tell by looking at the buds that they are not done yet, there is just so much amber compaired to white
?
