Hey growers I’m currently up to day 28 in flower and my 4x4 is packed. When I open the door the plants lay out. And the plants are laying all the walls pretty much. The 4x plants are growing equally. Any tips on what I should do? Prune some branches? Defoliate? Just leave them?

Just "leave" them lolzzz... anyways puns aside. I defoliated right around day 25 and remove i would say about 50% of all big fan leaves just to open the canopy. Its now been 4 days since then and it looked like I didnt even do anything.

I will say however that bud sites are looking bigger and tricome production has started quite nicely. Your growing Hydro, which I have no expertise on whatsoever so take what I say with a grain of salt lol.

Your plants look beautiful nice job!IMG_0838.jpg

That far into flower I wouldn’t touch them. Looks beautiful. For future grow I would prune bottom foliage before flip to 12/12. Helps with air flow to prevent mold.
I only mention defoliating like I did because I had yet to defoliate the plant really and I needed to add another layer to my scrog so it would be easier to get a nice canopy for the second layer of net

Next time throw up a trellis & if you haven't done a lower defoliation, I would do that & ANYTIME you remove leaves like this other guy was saying to do, always only remove a leaf for a reason, i.e. it's blocking a bud site, it's stopping light from reaching thru the canopy to other important areas etc. They are looking good & personally I would just keep an eye one the weight & tie branches up if necessary because they will get to heavy & snap.

I would do all my defoliation during veg. Minimum to none in flower. Maybe a leaf here and there blocking growing buds. But all major work should be done before you flip. And probably give the plant a week to recover from last defoliation before you flip to flower.

Sorry guys I’ve been away with work and have barely been in my grow. But I did finally last night. The plants are doing awesome, really starting to fill out now. I went over each plant and removed any leaves that was in the way of buds sites or any scraggly looking bits around the lower sides not getting much light. So far they hit day 36 (week5 calendar) I think the back lefts buds maybe getting light burn the buds tips are really white compared to the other 3. What height should I be flowering at? I know lux/ppfd is the best way to get my height right. What ppfd should I be aiming for? Thanks

This round I flipped them the day I defoliated, they were too tall so I couldn't let them stretch. I just jammed the table with as many that would fit, seems to be working out.

Just make sure theirs good airflow ! U star getting packed in that tight and humidity produces bud rot pretty fast . Plants look very nice buddy !
I’m trying to get the best airflow I can. I’ve got the tower fan at the rear and I’ve got 2x 100mm fans sitting on the dtw mesh pointing up to get extra airflow through the canopy. And I’ve got a clip on oscillating fan that sits on the lights pointing down but I noticed today it no longer oscillates I just move it to take clear pics. I don’t think I can get much more airflow in there lol
