i think your watering too much, in fact im almost 99% certain you are. lol, the plant needs wet and dry cycles for good root growth. that soil looks like it retains alot of water too btw

mine was 4 inches tall when it was ten days old, but it was stretched. but still had the same amount of leaves. yours are doing great. i think they are about the right size for 10 days. b patient and they will do wonders. just think about how hard it is to push them new fan leaves out. oh and btw you definitely want to get some perlite into the next mixture for future plants.

i think you might be watering to much. because the light sounds ok to me. i have 4 40w cfl in my little room, 1 on each plant and it looks like this after 2 days.

try staying away from watering for like 3 days or something and see how they like that.

and usually it wont be a ph problem that early unless you got really bad soil.

:leaf:good luck hope you figure it out:leaf:

didnt help man. they almost look the same
Are you talking 10 days since you planted the seed, or since the first signs of life appeared?

Ok. First of all, go get a PH meter. If you want to grow anything you need one. They only cost 30$. Believe me, you will be thankful.

Second, right now, I would just use one CFL per plant. Stick that bulb close, around 1 inches. You will have to check on the plant and move the light if needed.

Thirdly, when you water, let the pot get bone dry,...light as a feather. Its very hard to underwater plants and its much easier to recover a plant from it....just water.

Don't worry so much. You will learn a lot and make a lot of mistakes. Soon that thing will be shooting up like crazy, there are slow periods....like right now, where your plant is forming roots. Soon you will be amazed how fast she grows.

they are too young for nutes. I was wondering if u had tried it, its an error lots of growers do make. hmmm, have you gotten your ph reader yet? you could try flushing the soil with ph'd water to fix it.
