Day 1 of flower!!!! Finally get to see what l.a conf is all about

being that close to the lights maybe? temp stays around 80-88 mostly but for some reason when lights come on it gets to 95 for about 20 min then levels out around 85. Alright i got a question for you, When running c02 does that plant need higher temps to use the co2 or can they just handle more c02(i mean heat)? what should i run temps at? the lowest i can get it to is 78 when lights are on? heres a sexy leg picturephoto(1).jpg
 
what do you guys think the best way to add fresh water to a 200+ gal to undercurrent system. I did a drain and refill with fresh nutes but im sure there is a lot of chorine in my water. I heard h2o2 removes chorine is this true? what would be the best theres no way for me to store 200+gals 24hrs to let it out. just looking for alittle feed back

carbon filtration will remove the chlorine plus a bunch of other crap. Look at whole house POE units for something to scale and reasonable if you have really bad water. But I do suggest testing your chlorine levels first. It varies a lot depending on your water supplier. Light levels of chlorine are not harmfull, and chlorine is actually a plant trace nutrient.

Optionally you could store 50 gallons at a shot (one big plastic barrel), and refill\replace your system in smaller batches.

if your leaves dont "uncurl", try shutting everything down for 24 hours, leave em in the dark, thatll give it all time to cool off and hopefully they go back to normal. Ive never seen them "taco" like that from heat, but ive seen them "catclaw". hope this helps...

btw, im interested in seeing what them induction lights do as well. i just dont see why they have to be so expensive?

I found a place to get a 400w inductive bulb(2700k) and ballast for a decent price. I thought about seeing what i could do to mount one or two of those in a large sealed reflector and run it air cooled.
For optimum lamp performance the surface of the glass needs to reach 200 degrees F. Running air over the glass surface will not let the surface of the glass get up to that temperature.

My room is 22x12 and I have 2 of the exact same rooms next to each other, I'm running (9) 800 watt 2700k lights in each room. Each room has its own 18000btu ac/heat pump 100% sealed rooms. Water cooled to waste hydrogen co2 burner. Chhc-4 is my controller and 70 pt dehu and about 8 wall fans. Temps durning the day stay at 88 and at night 79-82. Rh day is 45-50 and night is 50-60 for some reason. Co2 ppm 1500 burner only runs for 70 sec every 80 min. I would not use any other light since I saw what they can do for veg but I have not seen flower yet, we will see soon. I took a big dive with these lights and their not cheap. Hopefully they pay off. These ladies are taller then me

P.s my 4 ton ac can hardly keep up, it runs 24/7, soon I will have to upgrade.
The basic calculation for factoring thermal contribution per watts is: 1 watt = 3.41 btu/hr

So each 800 watt light is going to contribute a minimum of 2,728 btu/hr.

9 x 2,728 = 24,552 btu/hr (~2 tons) that must be overcome. Assuming your 4 ton AC is functioning properly it should easily handle the heat produced from the lights unless the temperatures are running higher perhaps as a result of having the lamps mounted close together in a single housing.

I'm curious why you went with the 2 lamp set up and not the 3 lamp light they sell? My thought being you could have gone with 6 of the 1200 watt lights instead of 9 of the 800 watt lights.
