OK i"ll start from the beginning.
Bought seeds of net seedjoint.com.
sent off for seeds on sat.
They turned up on the tuesday.
Put them under paper wet paper towels.
Took three days to split.
Planted one on sat
One on sun.
By the way only planted two seeds (lack of space)
Only took four days for each seed to pop its head out of the soil.

By the way seeds cost me £14.00 inc postage. Thats for 10 Indian haze seeds.But i got 4 thai haze seeds for free. buzzin

My set up is not very big.
Its a space under a bench in my shed lol.
Size 28" width 16" depth 38" high.
I"m using a two foot double flo light. 18 watt each tube 1150 lms? cool white.
I have a small fan in there on a timer.
Fifteen mins every hour.

Please feel free to post in this thread.

I water my plants with water that has been boiled.I leave a big bottle in with the plants so it"s the same temp ? Is this the right thing to do ?
I had my plants 15 hours of light per day.
But i lost the plot one day and left the lights on.
They was on for two full days. so i thought fuck it and left them on.
Am i doing the right thing?
What cycle should my lights be on.

Please help any info will be good.
I"m two weeks in now and my plants are looking like this.

Please help advice needed.

At that age 24 hours of light was not a problem.

on/off
24/0 for seedlings some do some don't
18/6 good veg time, sometimes seedlings.
12/12 now will skip the veg step and go straight to flower (small yeld but fast turn around. 7-9 weeks start to finish) maybe a little longer with flows and cfl. if this is your first grow maybe don't try to skipping the veg stage.

When they get about 1/3 the finished size you want then switch to 12/12 force flower (note do not let them get any light at dark time).

Your plants just entered the veg. stage.

I just let my water set out over night.

Nice looking, how soon until flower cycle? If you can the flows can go a lot lower about 2"-3" (25mm to 75mm) above the plants. The cfl's look about the correct distance.

Note: It won't hurt the plants if they grow into the flows between checking times. They can touch the flows for several hour with no problem. I don't know how much heat those 18 watt cfl's put off but with the 26 watt that I use they will burn the plant if they touch. Only the area that touches the rest is ok.

These plants are five weeks old now i topped them last week so i"m gonna leave them on 18/6 for about another week and half then change lights to 12/12 . Checked on them today and one"s got sign"s of pre flower but i can"t tell what sex.

You could even go to 12/12 now if you wanted man. You'd be amazed how fast and how much more they are gonna grow once you switch to 12/12 They will atleast double in size or should anyway. They are looking great man, and im tuned in ;P good job so far.

OK just a quick update on the grow.
Plants been on 12/12 flowering now for 4 weeks tomoz quite a lot of white hairs. thought about chopping these plants a few times coz been running out of space but started to tie them down.Their in a bit of a state coz i been chopping at them but they just keep growing like weeds :lol:

This is my first grow so i"m gonna see it through to the end even if i get 1/2 oz to 1o/z out of two plants i"ll be a happy bunny.
Aint been updating this journal very much coz i don"t seem to be getting much feedback.
Anyway like they say you learn by your mistakes and fuck me sideways i"ve made a few.

Yo dave.. them plants are looking good ! as others have said.. think about the amount of space your gonna need... plan for them to triple in size.. this is something i should of done !

i left my lights on 24/0 for the first 3-4 weeks.. did them well.. and it was only till i got a timer that i switched them over to 20/4. however i did notice them grow faster.

Anyway man Keep it real.

Cheers Doom wolf yer i should of thought about them growing like mad during flowering but when i started this grow i didn"t really know what i was doing.
Thanks to RUI i have learned a lot.I seem to learn something new every time i log on.Plus i am learning by my mistakes LOL and i"ve made a few.

I"ve made a few clones out of these plants so fingers crossed they take root and start to grow. If they do grow i"m doing the hempty grow with them.
I have also got another plant growing which is an experiment i"m doing i"m gonna do a journal for that and post a link soon. :peace:

OK a quick update.
Went to hydro shop yesterday and got myself a envirolight and reflector.
I"ve been meaning to get this light for weeks been saving up but everytime i got the money together something happened 1st time daughters birthday 2nd time my van broke down (had to buy parts and fix it myself ) 3rd time oldest daughters birthday.So now i finally got it gonna set it up today. yahoo.

Plants are doing very well growing like crazy have to keep tying them down.
(getting good at that now)
Keep asking the wife if i can practise on her but she won"t let me (bitch)
Anyway from what i can see i got about ten bud sites they are all quite small but lots of white hairs.
Running out of space so i tied them bitches down and laid a peice of wire mesh over the top of them scrog style.
I got these two fem plants from seed to flower with a two foot double flo
36 watts and two 115 watts cfls. Hoping the new light will make a big difference.
No nutes they just been getting water and mollasses. Thats it.
Gonna leave these bitches for a week under their new light then next week gonna get some nutes and start fattening them up.
OK gonna update next week with a few pics.

No been on 12/12 now for about 4 weeks lots of bud sites.
Things are getting very interesting.
Gonna change to my new light today i will post some updated pics later before i change over.
I will post pics next sun to see whats changed in a week under new light.
