Hey folks! So i have recently moved my little grow into my new Darkroom Dr60 tent and all is well.
I have a 172cfm inline fan on the top exhaust hole.
However, the intake options for venting the tent are a bit odd to me: there are two apparent options.
1- (pic 1) open the side flaps (3 flaps- about 12"x4" each) from the outside to allow the air to be pulled into the tent . however when flowering comes, this obviously will let in a good deal of light... BAD!!!
2- (pic 2) use the 4 inch intake ports (two of these ports are available) with ducting to eliminate light leaks. however, this option does not allow enough air in and temps rise about 10 degrees F compared to using the larger vents.
has anyone used these tents and found an appropriate way to intake air while eliminating light leaks during the flowering stage?
