I am about week four into flowering. This is my first grow. my plant is lookin great! Buds are starting to form nicely! Wanted to know is ok to cut fan leaves off? They are blockin a lot of the light. If someone knows. Could you please leave a reply. thanks

Leave them on. Defoliation causes stress. If the fan leaves are dying on the bottom thats different. I pluck them as needed. But not excessively. The plant needs as much of the green it has as possible to properly distribute nutrients throughout the plant. you could get nutrient problems without doing something wrong..
The plant is taking in the light just fine.
It will tell you if it needs more. Stretchy lower limbs will climb up for light so they can build buds in flowering. You can also try adding some low heat lighting to the lower part of the canopy.

Hey Frosty, what do you think creates food for the buds you are trying to grow. That's right the fans you want to lop off. Do not cut the fans off bro, those buds do not get bigger by osmosis. They also do not need to be in the direct light. Do what you want, but you won't see me doing it to my girls....Good luck bro....J
