Damn

Well I am posterchild on "we told you not to, but you did it anyway". The last of which was going on vacation. Well I had set everything up nicely, raised the lights spaced things out in the grow room. Used water globes, two in my main plant and one each in my second and third plants as far as growth and potential. The third was a Mcdonalds cup which I transplanted to a water cannister with black tape around it (see sig, then laugh at me, it was going well). It was very slow growing I think because the Mds cup allowed light in and roots dont like that I understand. Well I extended my vacay by 5 days and unfortunately that was the five that did it. My original return time was going to be fine, close but fine. Damn. The two prized plants were dead as doornails but you could tell by smell that they both were going to be some dank ass shit. DAMN! Here is the third plant, the runt survivor which needed less water and had the most efficient of the water globes as it was the only one that literally watered for the advertised 2 weeks. This was the puppy that shouldnt have made it but here it is... Will it produce anything viable??? How does it look besides stretchy? The lights were particularly far away from this one.

stretchy is good. top it, clone it, and you have many plants again.

this is why i plan vacations for after harvests.

Maybe next time you should try using an AC or something to refridgerate the grow room, the plants will sortof fall asleep and not use very much water

Thanks for replies. This plant showed probs from start, doubt I clone or top. The other two would have been good for that. I WILL transplant now that I think about it... Temps were a problem because I turned my portable heater up as it was 18 degrees F when I left. Then we proceed to hit mid 50s... Had I really soaked them before I left and turned the heater OFF then they likely survive, even the extra days.

I've got a "mother" plant sitting in my refridgerator. I cut out some of the plastic on the door so that the light inside would not turn off when I close the fridge door. I'ts 5 inches tall and in about a liter of medium. I'm going to see if I can go 3 months without watering(its been about a week now). If it works I know I will be able to go on 3 months vacation and still have my mother plant.
