I did feel that way for many years. Then I thought surely there has to be some undisputed facts about this warming.

I was wrong. All the Current Understanding, the Theory of Climate, says there are too many variables, to say. And
when we look, we see conflicting results....Good Science.

However, lying in the popular press for agenda, for money and some local social fame, is a fact of life, regardless of the subject.

You feel hate for Big Oil and they deserve it, you say, oil and cars are not safe.

I say, how unscientific can you get?

Pad says, "all those scientists!!!" as I did, please believe me. I changed my mind on this one by self education and long boring days at work, broadband and no boss around. :)

All these guys are not the Cloud Effect guys or Deep Oceanographers. They are really a list of the nobodies that are Granted fancy titles by govt and the UN. Rice Bowl, I mean. It is not a real science career.

If you would broaden your search to your opposition to this Agenda, in the science circles, you can be more well rounded.

Did you read the latest UN (5 year) Climate Report? I did. How about all of them? Check. Do you understand it the worst statistical nonsense, yet. On par with opinion poll to get a consensus of the Rice Bowls.

Well, you have a point but I have points as well. The endless wars in Africa and the middle east, the oil spillage, smog and yes extreme weather readings. I am not making the case against big oil for climate, but it is contentious. This is not my wheelhouse but I have seen damage. It is not sustainable or clean....that's all.

The Demand for energy is your demon, yet, you know him, not. Why pick on the necessity in middle of the greatest moment in History, right NOW, I mean, for us? We got here, Oil brung us. Very simple.

If the Grant research for solar, leads in a promising direction about about a rare metal in the Reefs of South Africa, say? Along with all that other mineral stew, of Gold and Diamonds, strategic metals, etc, they have NanoSolarDope, also??? No Fair. Who is the biggest sugar daddy for that Solar Dope idea?

The existing Reef miners. (reef=what they call the mineral veins) They may already have it in their tailing. They may have rock mined thru a vein of Rare, already. But, it may be Bull. Just trying to get a market for a junk compound.

Then what if these Claim owners are Right beyond all Imagination, too the Moon, Alice!? More conflict.

The Blame shifts from pumping pipe stems, to strip mines and slavish labor conditions. So what? Good for them. The point everyone misses is the Blame must flow. And that is what follow the money really means. Blame is money. Blame the Rich.

Simple Envy.

Maybe DeBeers is sitting on tons of of the stuff that you dope a special ceramic with, and presto, thunderous energy for all.....DeBeers for $$$$$$.

No, they wouldn't put an entire industry at risk, destroying tens of thousands of fellow citizen's livelihoods on conclusions that turned out to be utterly wrong, despite a "consensus" of scientists agreeing with those very conclusions.

And if they did make such a tragic mistake, annihilating local economies, losing families their homes, destroying marriages, not to mention shipping a thriving industry off to other countries, they would surely undo those misguided and destructive regulations that were only approved based on horribly bad science. They wouldn't smugly crack a smile and say something that completely validates the accusations of their machiavellian mantra "the ends justify the means".

I see your process as never having an end. In all my imagination, it takes only an improvement to begin. To be ironic....couldn't hemp do it? I subscribe to Scientific American and water can be separated into Oxygen and Hydrogen which are highly combustible. The resources will have to be mined but cleaner and healthier starts with annoying pricks like me. The unimaginable purchases and technology that is in or soon available is a way to break this cycle of hard core pollutants including petroleum based plastics. I do understand the blame train and the money, but we are Space-Age Men and need to start adapting to better concepts. I am inspired by an innate sense that it is necessary and the curious abstraction that we all one day know and use. Oil is some dirty business literally and I don't feel connected to it. I agree with the imaginative way you frame the switch just not your attitude. We can and must do better it is our nature. I do not even drive, I barely use gas so perhaps I am biased. This is a leap I thought you would be all for acutually. There IS a way.
