Dabbing Newbie/Virgin: Help Choosing Nail etc.

Hi,

Never dabbed before but interested in starting.

Question #1: I have a Cheech double honeycomb bong (small/medium, not very big at all). Can I use a nail with that for dabbing? Or do I need a specific oil rig?

Question #2: I think I've settled on Titanium for my nail, but there are so many different Ti nail types and brands... Money isn't the biggest issue here (though I'd like to keep it under $120). Any idea which type and which brand are best?

Question #3: In terms of the dabber, is there any reason to get one over another? Is this an important item?

Question #4: Domeless vs. Dome... Any pros/cons or just personal preference?

Question #5: Is a vape pen not good enough? Or is using a nail+bong/rig that much better

Answer #1 - Yes it will work. You will need a male fitting if I am thinking of the correct water piece.

Answer #2 - I personally use quartz so not sure of a good name brand but many people here will help with that. Basically stick to pure titanium, at least grade 2, and made in USA.

Answer #3 - No real reason to get a particular one, more so a preference I would say. I use a glass dabber and stainless steel dabbers. There is also Ti dabbers.

Answer #4 - There are a some of pros and cons really but I would say it is more so a pref type of deal, me personally, I use both lol. With domeless you don't have to worry about more pieces to handle (between the unit, the dabber, the torch) so it's one less thing. But they are both nice, I suggest both lol. But I do use the dome more often than the other.

Answer #5 - It's a different high completly I feel. The vape pen works but the rig gets you there. Vape pen is something I feel you use because you can't use the rig in public or you want a quick snap. But simply for me, the pen is nothing like a rig. But that's me.

I prefer domeless titanium nails, much harder to swamp with big dabs, hard to crack too. KO Domeless version 2 is nice.

Stainless dabbers or titanium is ok but not required for the dabber. I hate glass ones, too fat, much waste when wiping off the junk post dab.

Homie fuqing damn head shops hate you and your mother, THEY WANT MONEYS, they will sell you a bs ti nail with some steal bs. Its about the reliable plug, if 215 cop a nail and dome from a club, the og shiz is a superior set up and you all know it, ... if not 215 get a Duality, if fat dabs are the name of the gave , you might want to splurge on a honeyhole

damn, that is a pretty epic nail... let us know how she works out :)

And yea, I love my G-Pen (old school full size, normal tank) for vaping wax/shatter @ work, or @ the bar... public places n such, as theres simple no weed smell at all :)

I use my Ti nail and the g-tool i got free w/ the pen as my dabber..... Dab to get high, g-pen to get by.... (also great for smaller venue concerts, movie theatres...etc) lol
