CV purpleberry Male not producing pollen from open clusters.

Has anyone had a male not produce pollen before. This dude has been in 12/12 for 3 weeks and clusters have formed and opened but no pollen. I've not ventured into breeding much but every time I have the male/hermie produced mad amounts of pollen starting with the first pollen sack to open. There is plenty of light and no nute def. I assume it is due to the purpleberries superior genetics and attribute this as a reason cannie discontinued this purpleberry fire.

Should I just kill it, is it/will it be able to produce viable pollen if it is not producing pollen by week three and many opened pollen clusters? I did not bother with pics, because the is not much to see, just clusters of pollen sacks, with about 20% of those sacks open without pollen.

I just checked out some others had issues with blueberry and some other purple line with male that produced no semen, err I mean pollen. So he is no longer alive. Tossed him, but I guess since I started the thread already has anyone else had to off a non producing male?

no but I had a lot of CV non producing females....well actually they produced but what they produced was pure shit.
Odd but I imagine you could have a sterile male. I have never had that....maybe coming up on the thousand seed pop mark....Ihave seen a lot of things but not that. I have heard of it though but not seen it. Hopefully you have another option.

Yeah I got caught on the hype last year about feb 12' and bought the purpleberry for the sole purpose of getting a male. Well out of 10, 3 did not germinate, which is a horribly rate for me, typically 100% unless they were really old beans. After reading up on the sterile male, I figure it is due to poor breeding and repeated improper backcrossing.

I have not popped as many beans as you, but I have popped a few, wink wink, and never have I had such miserable results as CV's purpleberry. All the plants were weak and poor product so much so I tossed the last two females I had planned to seed with that male.

Hey man ....yeah that is when I bought my CV and CC gear was around then too.....Im over it now...got alot better things going....not looking back...I only think a number that high because I run through alot of F2's etc and do alot of runs quick too beside my personal smoke garden...

CV - man right up there with TGA... but I got 2 packs before figuring it out (never ran them though sold one and have the other sitting around). Fuck he even lied to me (to my face at the HTCC) Sold me SSH x Grapefruit.... later from his ex partner I found out they the Grapefruit is like Grapefruit Haze or Chocolape/Grapefruit something. Horse shit I say!!

Yep like Wicked says. Fuck'em and move on. You win some you lose some. Cannaventure's run in the ceed game will go the way of pukka, doggy nutz, and cropi-cani, if it hasn't already.

u can opt into invisible mode & restrict access a bunch of ways in "privacy settings".
