Cutting roots

I have come to the conclusion that I have a problem with root rot..
Looking over this site over and over again I have found that there is only a few things to try but no which seem to work. I put some h2o2 im my aeroponic system and it seems to do alittle but ot enough. My question is this, is it safe to cut some of the infected roots off with out to much damage and if so how much casue most of the roots not all are all rapped around eachother? also I started using Fox farm big bloom and if youve seen this stuff its light brown and kinda chucky anyways so i think part of the color on the roots is this....any advice is welcome and appriciated:peace:

Since you are using an aeroponic system and talk about cutting the roots away Im going to assume you have pretty good access to them. Rotted roots will feel different than healthy roots.

Have you ever had ramen noodles? Crispy slightly rubbery undercooked noodles/roots=good. Sloppy wet overdone noodles/roots=bad.

Turn the system off and spray the roots with some RO water and feel them up a lil bit. If they are slimy and feel like soggy noodles then they are rotting.

And yes I have had nutrients which stain roots before so that could also be the case.

Are you running the pump in your aero system 24/7?
