cutting off main cola during flowering...

ended up running out of vertical space so had to cut the main cola off but now it keeps growing back.... did this stress the plant?

Should have just supercropped it i have done this a couple of times and always with good results.Just set asecond set of blueberry and trainwreck off and two of the plants were dwarfing the others so i just supercropped them to the same height has the rest.

thats where you pinch the stem a few times to soften it and then bend it over?

how deep into the flowering stage are you? n how tall

4 weeks in... cola was fried from growing into the light anyways so i chopped it.

mine grow right into the light 2"away from a 1000wtt hps un vented hood and don't burn my buds. 20" box fan blowing the heat away, or tie that bitch downand over. never chop a top bud 30 days in flower.

it burned... all the hairs and leaves were fried.... why leave that? and my hood is vented from my 600w hps but my room is at 81* cause i have no AC yet... just trying to get thru this grow to pick one up.

because it will grow all that back thats why. like i said never cut them tops your just hurting your yield even more by cutting that off instead of letting it go. always wait tell the steam its self is so dead thet it stapes be4 cutting anything like that..

haha...doode your plant is all baddd.. if i was you i would have a fan blowing on the plant n a fan blowing out the heat.. and tie your plant to an angle. 45 degree angle..use rope or something so it wont get sun burn.. 4 weeks is long too.. is your plant even budding?! cuz ur cycle should almost end buddy

wtf??? got at least 4 weeks left man... last harvest i chopped at 72 days and that was too soon. please don't come on here and tell me to chop early.

and hell yes my plant is budding... i don't even know why i'm responding to this....

20 month old thread I would have suggested trying to LST the plant if it was only 4 weeks into flower. But that was almost 2 years ago
