For what purpose?

I usually trim the bottom branches and leaves before starting flowering for better airflow (and clones), but I wouldnt see any reason to do it in veg for any other reasons.

With the right training of the plant over time you can eventually tie her down as much as this with minimal plant stress and it will usually increase your yield because more light can get to the whole plant

what if i said i had lights surrounding the plant top,sides, and from the bottom?
i just found two alternating nodes on the tallest plant anyways how long would they
stay tied down??????
