Should I have soil completely dry befor pullin it it jus stopped raining...I haven’t waterd it sonce last monday or so was gunna pull this weekend starting to reach around 38-40 degrees in the morning

Soil is jus some what soaked but starting to dry out bud have thickened within the days of rain also!
