Hey i have started flushing my plants and have been running the lights on 18/6 throughout their entire life. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to do 16/8 or anything like that, i have heard it might increase the yield. Anyone know if this is true and if i should do it.

what up snowman,

ive grown some autos before and know quite a bit bout em so to answer your question NO do not change the light cycle. autos are designed to flower independently of light cycle or having a photoperiod. by changing the times it could confuse them and they might not produce as much. i have seen plants that people have switched the lighting in the last few weeks from 18/6 to 12/12 or longer and it stunts them. what strain are you growing?
hope that helps man.

peace
