Customs seized my uh ... friend's seeds... what's next?

Just asking for a friend, you understand... he ordered seeds from the Single Seed Center a few weeks ago. It seemed like they were taking a long time so he went back to the web site and tweaked the buttons and updated his address and then received a response that the seeds were on their way. Still waited and nothing so he went back to Single Seed to track the order and was told that they had left Britain en route to US. That was about two weeks ago more or less. Then today the mail carrier knocked and he signed for the package and found out it had been opened and the seeds removed. Included was a notice from Customs or whoever opened the envelope at the border.

I think I have seen posts on this site indicating it might not be a big deal. In fact, the seed seller might even send my friend a replacement batch of the seeds he ordered, if I have read correctly.

It happened to me twice with my orders from The Attitude seed bank.

Don't sweat it, nothing happens. I just went with a different seed bank.

I'm surprised this never happened to me. I ordered for years from seed banks but recently started taking clones and rarely order except to add a new strain every now and then.

So nothing happens if the order gets held by customs other than you lose it? What if you have repeat orders this happens with?
