Started this grow on Dec 10 with 4 Liberty Haze clones acquired from a local dispensary. I'm growing in soil and in a 5x5 tent. Tents not the greatest quality But it was cheap so had some light leaks. That stood out the most when I read the reviews on it but hey sometimes cheap is good and for $100 I patched the leaks and woot woot it works.
I started the grow using one 600 watt with an MH bulb up through the time to flip and then of course used the HPS. The plants were vegged 5 weeks and growing in Fox Farms "Ocean Soil and in 3 gallon containers. I've since made a 32 gal mix of my super dup soil for my next batch, too late in the game for this grow and the Ocean has and is continuing its purpose.
I use the GH Nutes and have had good success with the Micro, Grow, and bloom series. I have well water here that always tests Ph high 6 to 7 so I Ph the batch to 6.5 every watering being every 3 days or so using the lift it and check it method.
Also using a 6" exhaust pulling air from within the tent out through the carbon filter. I placed a small oil filled heater in the tent and maintain a consistent 78 degrees... Well close anyways. The humidity usually stays in the high 30's unless the plants are freshly watered which can at times bump th RH up to the high 50's into the low to mid 60 range.
The beginning of this week took the girls into week four flower and they are rocking. I took the 600 HPS out and replaced it with a Blackdog BDL-P-XL-U model led this model rates 750 actuall watts and utilizes pretty much all the spectrums available.
I like the light but it was a bitch to hang at 54 lbs and I wasn't sure at first the tent would hold it so spaced the hangers out across 2 support bars and its hanging just fine. Sometimes it's the little things I space out on so I'm glad I did not have to step in and improvise, good thing it's hanging. I hung the led on Feb 7th so lights been in use now for 7 days. And the girls are liking it.
I've noticed a marked improvement in bud formation the light is 18" from top of canopy. With the 2 six inch fans and the exhaust moving air out my temps are stable and don't reach the 85 degrees that support told me it would using this led.
I'll be posting pics weekly with a twist I like to use unconvential camera filters to help bring out those little details in bud formation. Well, I dig taking the pictures and working with images to creat different effects and in different perspectives so Ill have some good ones by the end of this grow into harvest. These are the Haze Strain and now only into the fourth week we got a ways to go yippe.
My next batch are short of one month old in one gal pots and almost ready to transplant. First tops and fem done at 3-4 nodes and been working on them using bondage. One plant now has 5 tops where the rest at 4 tops and I enjoy working with them at the young age. This batch I have 3 Haze#1 and some freebies from an order with Herbies, 3 California Nuggets.

I decided to throw what I have into one folder so I'll add to each week.
