Can someone give me some feedback from using Current Culture hydroponic nutrients in a DWC setup - PICTURE BELOW
please tell me if I am missing any other nutrients i should need or should have - I am aware that the nutrients i currently have are for the Veg stages, i am aware i need to buy the Bloom A and B, i will purchase these when i approach the bloom stage tho, do i need anything else to help secure a succesful grow

Can someone explain how much to start with for seedlings, and work your way through the whole process from start to finish

Can i also get feedback on the pH of this stuff and if it is easy to grow with in a DWC setup.

How much should i use - i.e a feed chart

How often i should be flushing and adding water to my reservoir and how i should go about this in specific detail please.

If someone could write up a feedchart i would be ever grateful for your efforts and support, and will definitly return the favours to the community when i am a more experienced grow with some years under my belt.
P.S - i am going to grow different strains that are autoflowers, can you take this into account too.

It's all unnecessary honestly a one part start to finish works perfect.

I'm not familiar with that particular brand but should be fine for your veg. I looked up that UC Roots and still unclear what it's supposed to do. I think it's something like HydroGuard? I never used anything like that in 50 DWC grows.

I start clones in DWC at 300ppm and work up from there. RO water to keep things simple and rarely changed nutes except for after the stretch if then. Used AN 3-part from 2001 then tried the the Connoisseur 2-part but then went back to the 3-part and use that now for DWC or soilless growing. Got Mega Crop nutes too but haven't tried them in DWC.

No idea about the pH of that stuff. AN is pH Perfect so never bothered checking pH. For autos you'll want to start using some of the bloom A+B with the veg as they begin to flower but I haven't done a lot of those either. Just grew some in pots to make seeds with. You should look for auto-flower threads to get more pertinent info about them.

Is there nothing on the website for a nutrient calculator? Start low and use equal amounts of A and B when feeding or charging your nute reservoir.

Good luck.

Thanks for the information there, what is AN? Is this an American or european nutrient brand, im not familiar with these nutrients.

I will look up the website Current Culture H2O and see if they have a feeding schedule.

Ill buy some RO water then and a ppm meter to check everything is to spec;)

What do you mean start at 300ppm and "work up from there"

AN is Advanced Nutrients. They started over 20 years ago in Abbotsford, BC, Canada and that is still their main headquarters. They are basically like most other nutes but use what they call pH Perfect technology so they will work in almost anything without having to worry about the pH. Their base nutes don't cost any more than their biggest competitor but the supplements are hard on the wallet and for the most part uneeded to grow decent pot. Other than the base 3-part I just get their Rhino Skin for silica and Big Bud for a bloom booster.

I mean to start your clones off in DWC at 300ppm then increase ppm as the plants start to show good growth. I just add small amounts of nutrients to the tub to raise the ppm rather than dump out the still good stuff and do a whole fresh batch. I often go from clone to crop and never change the nutes. Just adjust ppm as needed to stay at my target range for whatever stage they are in and how vigorously they are growing.

Water quality makes a big difference whether hydro, soilless or real dirt. I use nothing but RO or distilled water as my tap water comes from a dugout on my property and is pretty hard at 400+ppm and pH 8+. If you're going to use tap water then contact your supplier and ask for a copy of their water analysis. Should be free. Then you know what you're dealing with. High or low levels of different minerals in your water can affect how your plants grow and can interfere with your nutrients.

I will contact my water supply today, but i think ill be safe and just spend the money for RO. I just spent alot of money on seeds and dont want to waste them.

how do i "add ppm"?
As above.

I found a great spot to download FREE POT BOOKS . I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books look great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as many are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.

:D Thanks Old Med

Last night I stumbled across some posts about these Current Culture nutes and all the gear they sell for growing. Read a good grow thread a guy did with an 8 bucket undercurrent grow system and it was pretty impressive. I haven't seen colas on my plants like his since the last time I did DWC.

I really got to get back to that ASAP.

I just got a Raspberry Pi and other goodies today from Amazon so I may be distracted a bit. :)

Link to . . . ?
The posts or thread you referred to "grow thread a guy did with an 8 bucket undercurrent grow system" . I did a search but was unable to find the thread. TY

I have some diy rdwc systems and i'm thinking about upgrading to a current culture system.

Sorry. Didn't grab the URL and have no recollection of where I found it off a google search. Might have been Grass City.
