curled leaves

Hello fellow riu members, I've been having some problems with my indica Dom bagseed strain. The tops leaves are curling under and getting a really light green. I've tried for weeks to find out what the problem was and fix it... I've tried flushing, recalibrating my pH, and even changing my nutes but nothing seems to help... I've searched every thread and every forum for answers and found some that are plausible, but the suggestions on the sick plant thread don't seem to be helping after 2 weeks. So please I'm just asking for some advise/ suggestions as what to do next? Thanks for any and all help its appreciated

From the looks of those horrendous pics, they look heavily overwatered. Please post more, detailed photos.

I agree the droop looks like overwatering. But, the wavy surface of the leaves (crinkle?) looks strange. Zinc deficiency? High soil ph? (But, you'd see iron def too.).

What soil is it?

BTW: What were the suggestions that haven't been helping? That might help us understand what others thought it could be, what you've already tried, etc.

I've already assumed it could be, nitrogen toxicity, or possibly a high pH? But the usual solutions for both those problems isn't working? I'm open to trying again, but I don't think those are the problem? I hope that helps some? I know there are a lot of variables in growing, so any more info that you could use to help me out just ask and I'll be happy to oblige..

Remind me again, what soil do you use? How often do you water?

I don't have any ideas about what the problem is. But, curious about those two variables.

BTW I just watered them before the pictures, so they're kind of droopy, and I know the pics are horrible I'll post some more when I get home

Its ffof and I water every other two days swapping water for fox farm trio nutes every other watering, and so you think it could be zinc deficiency? Because the new leaves crinckled up kind of scares me :/

What kind of water? Filtered, tap? If tap, what is the TDS in ppm? Chlorine or chloramine?

I don't want to offend any FF growers, but it seems like I've read more than once that the soil is too hot, maybe not enough dolomite. But, I don't see nute burn nor ph-related lockout, deficiencies, etc.

If you never figure out what the problem is, I'd try different soil and nutes next time. Maybe go very basic (not the cartoon'ish cannabis-marketed products. Just Jack's Classic all-purpose in veg through flower (or at least decide how to boost PK in flower after seeing how veg goes). Pro-Mix HP with 20% perlite added. (Could also do GH Hydro 3 part. That's a really simple, problem-free way to grow. I started that way.).

Almost surely isn't N Burn. The leaves would be ultra dark, waxy looking and the serrated blade of the leaf would be burnt. Also, I don't use Ocean forest, but I have in the past and its more of a risk to use with seedlings. I simply switched to Happy Frog because it's better soil and just happens to be cheaper as well. Personally, what I would do: pull the rootball, clear away as much excess soil as possible without overly stressing the plant, re-pot into a bigger container with Happy Frog, use plain ph'd tap for at least a couple weeks and change your watering techniques. Allow your soil to dry out thoroughly before watering again. Also fwiw my tap is loaded with chloramines and I monitor all of those parameters carefully because I keep saltwater reef tanks. Haven't found hard water tap to be anything but beneficial to cannabis(in soil). It's loaded with CaMg. They love it. I run my tap through RODI though in my DWC grow. But for soil it simply isn't necessary most of the time depending on your municipal water source and the content. The average persons hard water tap is perfect for growing in dirt.

Yeah I just use tap, and just use an air pump and air stone to filter it some overnight. And yeah I agree, I don't like or support the ff trio or ffof, but when your on a super low budget and in a "not-so-legal" state you kind of have to work with what people give you... But thanks az2000 for your opinion and advise I'll defiantly be using a lot of different products next time. Its only bagseed this time around so its not a big deal I just really wanted to get someone like your and dankfactory's opinions on the subject. Like i said those leaves are just something odd that I haven't experienced in my short time growing.(5 or 6 grows)
