Curious about my roots in hydroton

So these plants have been in my 5 gallon buckets about a week now with the water level right below the bottom of the net pots. There are some super fuzzy but all white spots on the roots in the hydroton. Just curious if this is good or bad or if anyone knows about what it is, I am happy to answer any questions to help

That is what roots do. The roots are covered in tiny little cillia (hairs) increases root surface area and uptake capability. Ya dong a good job mate.
