Hey my girls been hanging 3 and half days now was just wondering if I put them in jars now and started regular burping would it be a problem.reason being I need take tent down as my land lord is coming to do some work, they feel a little dry on the outside stems still bending though.if they get to wet in the jar I will obviously take them out until the outside dries abit and continue, would this be ok I think it might take longer but will it work ?

seems a bit earlie mate u could put them in jars but your just making the dry period extended so will be waiting alot longer also if there is alot of moisture in the stems you might end up with problems rot mold you will just end up having to burb and keep opening the jars up very often

Dont jar it till the stems snap. If your land lord is coming just put it in another room. Some lines with clothe hangers should be fine.

Wait as long as you can . Go into turkey bags to save a day or two. If they are too wet and you put into jars you will fuck it up

Good ole paper grocery bags or a cardboard box can work for a day or two. The paper helps absorb moisture.
Yep. And they'll make it easy for you to open a couple of times a day to let out moisture and let in fresh, dryer air.

Well it seems I have gone wrong then, I was reading a article that said I don't want to let them snap just let the outer part feel dry which it is.and now they in jars I have opened them up this morning after 12 hours and they don't seem wet just sticky and spongy.if they get to wet I will pull them out and let them sit until they dry on outside again

Too late now just have to keep burping I can consantly monitor them so that should help and there's not a huge amount of bud so it's not hard work enough to get me through until new harvest

This! Grocery bags are great!

I do disagree with a poster above. I like jarring mine before the stem snaps. I've found if the stem snaps I've usual dried too much. Right before that point is prime. You still want moisture deep inside the buds that will distribute evenly upon curing.

Good luck!

Well I checked the bud just now and it's slightly sponge and sticky not wet is that ok ? Or should I pull them out untill they feel dry on the outside again
Yes take them out and spread them on some newspaper. if u can u should put them in a paper bag and leave it closed for 3 days.. just close it and forget about it on the third day throw them in jars burp once or twice a day..

I've used brown lunch bags works great if you don't have to much to dry.. 20141104_025020.jpgI got a 30 pack for a few bucks.

Yea.. to be on the safe side 2 days in the bag.. The bag will help sweat it as it absorbs moisture..so it actually drys it from the inside out. As opposed to it drying from where the oxygen hits it to the center. If you're uncomfortable with 2 days at least do 1 and a half, bag it and don't open it for 36 hours..
