Yes I did I hung Dry for 5 days exactly I live in Nevada so my Climate is extremely dry and its hard to hang dry for more then that before they get to dry. how long would I burp for just once a day for the rest of the week?

I would think by the time they were 63% they would have been daily burped for weeks already. Mine are in high 60's sometimes 70-71 when they go in. 63% they're pretty much good to go. Roll one up, check it out!

Mine went in at 68 , 6 days ago no I'm down to 63, and I'm cutting it down to once or twice a week...your in a real dry climate , you have to tweak it a bit and you can't just follow word for word so it seems like your doing ok...maybe if you cut down to once a week, do it a little longer?

wow! that's a lot of drop in 6 days...takes me weeks to get to 63%...of course I'm trying to keep it slow when curing, the slower the better.

You ever open a jar that's been curing a year that hasn't been open for a few months and the lid pops off like a champagne cork?

Love that shit...lol.

The 63 is like a base number it still goes up to 65 if I go a little bit without opening...the perfect cure thread here is very good but everyone needs to have a personal tweak! Because everyone isn't the same! I popped mine of last night and it took some strength lol

Thats what I was thinking if I keep burping like everyone says for a hour a day once a day for the rest of the week ill end up with dry bud so im going to take this advice.

That "green chlorophyll" smell is normally a sign that the weed was dried too fast. You may never get it to go away completely - but think about next time! You need to reduce your direct exposure to the dry atmosphere; try drying in (loosely packed) paper bags - or there are lots of other tricks on the "Harvesting and Curing" forum.

I live in Nevada (20% RH) and use a humidifier during the first 5 days of drying. Also, if that isn't available you can dry using cooler temps (60-65F). I like to set my humidifier at 50% RH and depending on the density of your buds it'll take 5-7 days before jarring. One other method (for small grows) you can use a cardboard box with strings woven from side to side to place the trimmed bud stems on. Leave the lid of the box partially open for the first 2 days then using a hygrometer try to keep it at about 50% RH in the box. If you think it's drying too fast put the box in a slightly cooler area and keep it around 50% RH for 4-7 days. Works for me.

You did you chop a little early? Sometimes that can cause that hay like smell.

I always dreamed of cutting plants in low humidity, never thought you'd have to ADD water... but it makes sense. Guess I should be happy where I am... usually 40 - 65 here unless rain driving it up...

Drop your temps dry in a cold cellar i just dried some buds took 2 weeks hanging to dry kept temps extremely on the cool side and in dark place .. out come was fantastic after 14 days @ 55 Deg C i then placed them all together in a bag and twisted it all up to sweat remaining wetness out ..
then placed them into room temps or a day to completly dry ,,,
bag them total time 3 weeks you can take the longest hardest pull from a joint and its smooth the smell of the bag of weed infucking credible lol
Also for grown out door it people have said is this out door looks indoor
