Curing large amounts of weed

Yeah I have a question how do people cure large amounts of weed. Putting it all in mason jars is not an option when you have pounds and pounds. One method I have used before is to dry it until the stems bend but don't snap and then put it in a garbage bag seal it and sweat it for 24 hours then over the period of a few days roll it around in the bag partially open. That's the quick method I use for large quantities but I would really be interested to see what other people do.
 
trim a bit.
.freeze it all fresh frozen and make meds.
.keep anything you wanna burn separate and dry and cure that...
 
Dude. Where is your dust mask and some water? That glass dust is deadly. Safety first. I drill glass for custom orchid pots. I use diamond hole saw bits. Cheap on we bay. I also poke a small hole in a 20 oz bottle cap and use that as coolant/ lube and dust control water delivery. Like the idea though. Beats burping.
 
I use large yard waste paper bags the big leaf bags from Home Depot or can tire even the independent
Each will hold several pounds but I usually limit each bag to 2-lbs which leaves plenty of room for shaking things up a little and good air flow between buds
once they are dried to my taste then they hit the mason jars for long term storage
The key is drying to the exact moisture content before jarring

after use refold them and use again the next year

I used to dry like that. Wet trim them into the bag...by time the buds were dry they taste like they been in the jar 1-2 weeks....almost like kick staring your cure.
 
remove fan leaves and hang dry 7-10 days >> frost-free freezer for 21-28 days >> manicure and into jars for long term. One freezer comfortably cures 9-10kg.

For myself I like to use r/h meters which really takes the guess work out of it imo. Then also you can use any kind of containers/jars really. Once you're sitting consistently around 63% you're in the curing zone. Some may like it a bit higher and others a bit lower. Under 60% you're too dry and not curing anymore. 70% and over you're too moist and may even run into mold issues. I like 65% myself personally. Play with it a bit though and find your sweet spot.

Have you found the paper effects the taste in any way compared to a hang dry to jars?

Not any kind of huge difference but maybe a little, because when normal hang drying you have complete airflow possible, but with paper it actually slows down the dry in its last stages ...., before jarring which takes the rushing part out of it, and the reduced airflow makes the smell nice before jarring and reduces the chances of hay smelling weed going into the jars.
you can easily leave 10-12 pounds sitting like this for a couple extra weeks in need be with little reduction in quality.

to be honest I occasionally find a branch or two I have left completely untouched (usually out in one of my sheds) and have completely forgotten about(sat out there all winter at whatever moisture content is in the air).... I am surprised how much nicer this completely dried up and left in the open..... branch tastes even when compared to jarred stuff a year later. It usually looks like columbian gold in the color department but the taste and smell are usually really really nice..So I guess we know how the columbian gold got its color...and taste...
 
Trim and hang for a week then put straight into glass gallon jars. They come 4 to a box and you can get off Amazon. Burp the jars once a day for a month... perfection. Leave the buds in the jars and store the jars in the dark in the box they came in. Just leave the lids on and prevent yourself from opening them and the curing stays perfect till use. should be able to squish the buds and have them "bounce back" to orignal form like a sponge. That's just my process.
