Why do you have to use glass jars, if I have too much for the jars I have would it hurt to use a ziploc for some???

What's the difference, between plastic containers with lids and ziploc bags?? I mean do you not use plastic because it changes the flavor???
they arent air tight. how about the difference between a beer in a glass or a plastic cup? yes, plastic will effect the flavor.

youve worked this hard, dont take shortcuts now.

I agree. There is no significant if even detectable change if you do it right, although I do love mason jars, but if you got 10lbs of meds, are you burpin' 160 glass jars 2-3 times daily?

your doing it wrong if your burp more than once a day. the whole point of curing is to go slooooooow. and lets see, 10lbs even at wholesale is 20K...god forbid making that kind of money be anything like work.

yep and beer taste the same from glass or a can right??? oh wait never mind ..glass is the way
i think i already made the beer comparison...fuck it, maybe this dude will inspire a couple more people to just grow thier own by providing yet another batch of poorly cured good weed.

Ziplock's probably OK.
Only reason for glass is, glass is electrically neutral, so your trichomes will not cling to it - like it will, with plastic.
Plus - it really holds the air in or out. Plastic's OK - glass's a little better.

That is true - and it also makes a difference, if you plan on sitting on it. For most of us - the big difference will be - if there's anything in the jar of glass - OR - the bag of plastic.
Medical marijuana often comes in those amber pill-bottles.
Either one will work.

If you like the taste and smell of bud cured in plastic then by all means do it that way--it's your bud!!!. I slow dry my buds in a controlled drying chamber for 7 to 10 days---then they go into glass-on-glass jars(no alum or tin lids as such with canning jars) The jars hold one pound and get burped a couple time a day depending on size/density of buds. They get the burp treatment for 7 days and they are ready for tasting on the 10th day. The buds are perfect at day 28 of cure and will hold until they are consumed. The buds are dried and cured in the dark and usually don't see much light until they get sacrificed to the flame. This way works for me and I like it...
