Whats the humidity in thr jars? Need to take the buds out and let them get down below 65% if they arent already or you going to end up with hay/amonia smell

I have 1 in and it says 61%
Good, then toss the #62 bovida in there and keep exchanging the air in the jar a couple times a day with air that is 50% rh.

And you need to keep the jar closed for 12hrs or so at least for the sensor to read correctly. Need time for things to re eqalize after opening the jar.

I went 8 weeks. 90 milky 10 amber. Probably 70 % of pistils brown and curled in
If only 70% of the pistils were brown, I gaurantee you harvested early. I'm assuming it was 8 weeks of 12/12 time? Which is not the same as 8 weeks of flowering.

Then secondly it sounds like you dried pretty fast. However if you harvested early, the buds will really only get so good.

I just had a bad hay smell my last batch and thought I somehow ruined it all. It ended up it wasnt dried enough. My buds were so dense they were way more wet then I thought. Although the outsides were crunchy once I jarred with humidity sensors it was over 85%. So I slowly brought it down to 65ish over the week then down to 62 over another week and it’s amazing now. No hay smell at all. It also took 2 days for the humidity sensor to raise from the dense buds.
