i want to cross some plants with an autoflowerer, but i don't know what one is better.

So the choices i saw were lowryder #1 and #2, and the original
RUDERALIS plant but im not sure if it matters.
i just want the plants im crossing to flower earlier and to be shorter.
and one im hoping will hopefully turn my strain indica.(its on the cusp).
so any help will be appreciated.

also check my post on growing jack herer its pretty nice

I would say Lowryder1. The Lowryder2 and other variant Autoflowering have been crossed with a Santa Maria(Brazilian) which in its self is not bad. But if you want your specific variety smaller and earlier, then use the Lowryder1.

The reasoning is, the Ruderalis causes the autoflowering and early qualities, and they are stronger in the Lowryder1 then in the Lowryder2. Diesel Ryder, Auto AK-47, Auto White Russian, Auto Blueberry are crosses of Lowrder2 and the Ruderalis pheno type begins to thin out. You could cross Lowryder1 with your Indica, and this hybrid could be crossed again with your Indica.

This would be be like crossing the Lowryder1 with the Santa Maria then crossing it again with any of the various Autoflowering strains (Diesel, AK-47, White Russian, Blueberry...) as the producers of these strains have done.

You will decide on the pheno types you desire, for your final product, that is why I think the Lowryder1. As a matter of fact I will be doing the same, with Herijuana and Train Wreck.

Agreed go with #1. Its more pure. But if all you are concerned about is height you should just breed with some extremely short indicas, and find the shortest phenos, and breed those, you may even come up with a crazy heavy yielding plant as tall as a lowryder, which suck on yield btw. Or you could just flower earleir. Lamp
