Cross substance sensitivity

So anyone who takes prescription drugs or has family members who do know that some of them can "potentate" alcohol. (cant remember what drug it is but) my grandma takes something like this and quite enjoys it because she can get quite buzzed off one drink.

Not really interested in alcohol but it does make me think what if any substances could be used to A. Make the Cannabis experience stronger and/or B. Artificially and quickly reduce tolerance.

And not just mix drugs for stronger effects im talking about something that only strengthens the weed high. Anyone have any experience with something of this nature??

There's nothing that would just potentiate the buzz from weed. Plenty of drugs will interact with it, but they contribute to the buzz as well.

Your grandma probably takes some sort of benzodiazepine to potentiate the effects of alcohol.

I agree with MrEDuck. There's no drug or substance that I can think of that actually potentiates the effects of weed but certain drugs do cocktail well and increase the overall buzz, but its no longer only weed. I find benzodiazepines work go very well with weed, Just me though.

It doesn't even need to be something like a benzo to potentiate alcohol. If it crosses the blood brain barrier it probably interacts with alcohol.

Correct. Most likely I would think it would be a benzodiazepine or an opiate because they're so popular combined with alcohol in America.

SSRIs are much more commonly prescribed and wreck you alcohol tolerance.

Bingo.

I was on tramadol for years before I started smoking pot again. Typical does was 2 or 3, but I'd do up to 10 or so. Seizure level dosage. Moron move. And the side effects sucked.

But when mixed with a percocet, it was GREAT!
