Cropping

My girl has this one tall main cola. It is 8.5" taller than the rest of the canopy. There is a second cola that is about 4" taller than the rest of the canopy. I received some feedback on another thread saying it is not too lat to super crop her. She is starting week 5 of bloom today. Her bloom time is 8-9 weeks. She is running out of space to grow vertically as well. Is it too late to super crop her? How low can i crop this main cola? Will the main cola continue to grow after I crop her? Thanks in advance everyone.

i super crop late in flower as needed.. i know tons of people say it will stress the plants, but ime, it's simply not true.. i s.c. as needed in flower all of the time and have never had a problem doing to.. i love super cropping.

Is this video correct on how to do it? I guess the main cola being cropped will continue to grow, right? Just a little crooked is this correct?

Okay thanks guys. You guys are awesome! Tomorrow in the morning I'm going to do it. This is my first grow, so you can see why I'm extra cautious. I have her at a friends house right now. Here is a pic of my whole setup. I built the bucket myself. It is from a week ago so she isn't so tall in this pic. She has grown so fast:

I know my light is a little small for this size plant. She seems to be doing well anyway. Could be better though with a 440w or an 880w of course. I want to do autos next, so I'm thinking of getting several of these full cycle lights so i can have plants at different stages and have a perpetual harvest from one tent.

I cropped her today. I used my fingers to squeeze the stem under a joint or node. When I felt it get soft i bent it. Did I do it right?



Now the canopy looks much more even. There is another cola that is a little taller than the rest as you can see from this pic. Should I crop it too?

Yes? No? Is this good? Do I need to tie it up a little because I did?
